RippleTech's LogCaster Product Takes "Best of Show" Award
at Corporate and Channel Computing Expo
LOGCASTER DESIGNATED "BEST ENTERPRISE SOFTWARE"

solutions, received top honors Wednesday at the Corporate
and Channel Computing Expo (C3 Expo) in New York City, when LogCaster,
their flagship product, was designated "Best
of Show" in
the enterprise software category.
Judged on the basis of innovation, quality and value by experts
in the industry, the LogCaster product was deemed "a system
toolkit few organizations can do without." Peter Senescu,
vice president of sales, accepted the award on behalf of the
company at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, where the
conference attracted some 8,000 attendees.

The latest version of the LogCaster product was previewed at
the C3 show this week, where three new, industry-leading features
were spotlighted. The features are an executive "dashboard" that
visually displays the status of network security, the ability
to non-intrusively monitor database and application activity
and the ability to provide normalized, cross-platform reporting
of security status and events.
The C3 Expo is an annual event sponsored in part by the Information
Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). It brings together
information security and IT control professionals from across
the U.S. to exchange ideas and view vendor products.

Henderson, the principal researcher for Indianapolis-based
ExtremeLabs, headed the judging team. Henderson is a former systems
and telephony integrator who has authored or co- authored ten
books and published over 2500 articles. He is a member of the
Lab Alliance testing group of Network World and conducts seminars
on advanced computing topics worldwide.
The judges noted that the LogCaster product monitors a "staggering" variety
of server platforms and offers an "incredible" variety
of reports to meet government regulations. "Nothing escapes
the clutches of LogCaster," they reported.
